Our Senior Computer Vision Engineer and Lead Data Scientist Dr. Amir Motamedi had the honor of presenting LINDERA at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) - a special moment, because this is exactly where the first idea to found LINDERA was born in 2015!

Artificial intelligence in healthcare and elderly care

LINDERA is a leader in the development of markerless 3D motion technology for healthcare and elderly care. Our AI-supported solutions such as L.Care, L.Gait and L.Ortho enable precise gait analysis, individual therapy recommendations and efficient care processes.

Forward-looking developments such as KIP SDM CDSS (Clinical Decision Support System) and MD Assist are also part of our portfolio and support medical professionals with data-based decisions.

Great curiosity about AI in practice

The HSG students showed great interest in our use cases. They wanted to know how we integrate our technology into everyday healthcare and what advantages we have over other solutions.

Two key questions from the audience:

  • Our USP & competition - Our answer? Highest quality! We deliver precise, AI-supported solutions and are deeply integrated into the care system. Our technology is markerless, easily accessible and sets new standards in care.

  • How is such a system created? - Not by lone wolves! Each module is developed in a team, with at least two data scientists per area, comprehensive code review and iterative optimizations.

Markerless technology as a competitive advantage

One student mentioned a company that uses sensors in shoe soles to carry out gait analysis.

Our answer?

Our technology is markerless - no sensors, no additional hardware, simply analyzed using a smartphone camera. Efficient, precise and can be used anywhere!

Conclusion: AI is changing the healthcare industry

The event at the University of St. Gallen once again showed how great the interest in AI solutions is in the healthcare industry. We look forward to continuing to drive technological progress forward and engaging in an exchange with young professionals.

Thanks to the HSG (University of St.Gallen) for the invitation - see you soon in beautiful Switzerland!
