The Evangelische Heimstiftung (EHS ) is expanding the use of LINDERA mobility analysis: following successful implementations in the Haus am See Heilbronn and Haus auf dem Wimberg facilities since 2021, three more homes are now relying on AI-supported fall prevention: the Johanniterstift Plochingen, the Thomascarree Mannheim and the Zinzendorfhaus Mannheim.
The decision to expand is based on the positive experiences from the first two facilities. Our LINDERA team visited these homes last year to gather first-hand impressions and feedback.
This resulted in two practical videos: one with feedback from the Haus auf dem Wimberg and another from the Haus am See Heilbronn, which contains valuable practical tips on how to best implement the LINDERA video recording.
With the launch of the three additional facilities, we have once again opted for our tried-and-tested workshop format. The aim is not only to present the technology, but also to actively integrate the LINDERA mobility analysis into day-to-day care in a practical way.
After all, a simple training concept is not enough to get started - the implementation must be developed together with the nursing staff and those responsible at the facilities.
In addition to the teams from the three new homes, Stefanie Gehre, a consultant in the care and everyday support department at the Evangelische Heimstiftung, was also involved inthe kick-off workshop . Together we have,
Joint further development: regular exchange ensures sustainable implementation
In order to optimally support the implementation process, all participants have agreed on the following exchange formats:
▶"The introduction of the LINDERA mobility analysis facilitates risk assessment for care staff and enables targeted prevention measures. At the same time, it supports the understanding and safe use of digital applications. "
▶ "We expect the app to support the quality of our day-to-day care. Seamless integration that brings tangible added value for both our employees and our residents is particularly important to us. "
▶ "The workshop was essential for defining a clear approach and ensuring successful collaboration. "
A key factor in the success of the expansion is the funding provided by KKH Kaufmännische Krankenkasse. Thanks to the extension of the funding this year, the three additional facilities could be included in the project. The financial support makes it possible to integrate a health promotion process for the needs-based mobilization of residents.
Next steps: Integration into the care process and evaluation
The LINDERA mobility analysis app is now being actively integrated into the care process of the new facilities. The first analyses are starting, care staff are recording data and deriving measures.
The first joint exchange with all five facilities will follow in a month's time in order to reflect on experiences and make possible adjustments. Questionnaires will also be used for evaluation in order to measure and continuously improve the course of the project .
